Maybe it was the dreary weather, but this past weekend was almost an absolute bust for my thrifting. Boo.
After looking in about a million places, I found no dressers I could afford for a resale project (I normally try not to spend more than $150 or so), no great small items, art, mirrors or anything. Double boo.
However, there were great sofas for days and days. Check all of these out! All found in Durham.
None came home with me because I don’t have a truck, cannot afford to have them recovered right now, and have no room to store them – especially since Dolly’s new owner is sending her back, argh.
What do you guys think of thrifted upholstered pieces? Would you keep them as is? Does that creep you out? Is recovering mandatory?
