Suiting from Victoria’s Secret

Victoria’s Secret sells suits. And I have a confession to make – I’ve owned two of them in my lifetime.

They are not the same quality as say, J.Crew super-120′s suiting. But they aren’t horrible, and are much more affordable than super-120′s suiting.

Look at that cute combination and Miss Sassy pants in purple?

Right now I wear a suit to work almost every day and the rotation is getting tired and a bit worn – so I’m in the market for some new affordable pieces.

What do we think of this? Maybe in different colors and non-hooker shoes?

The pants are only $50 and the jacket $128.

And I could switch out the pants when it gets warmer and do some of this:

Not at work of course but in other places. Really, it might be the cutest thing ever. Unless this is the type of thing that only looks good in catalogs and on Pinterest.

  1. I love that suit with the shorts, but am wondering the same thing about real-world pull-0ff-ability…

    Look at these! http://www.fabsugar.com/Shorts-Suits-27477490

  2. Try the Limited – the suits are nicely fitted, and affordable ESPECIALLY if you sign up for email coupons, 40% off ones fly into my inbox all the time!

  3. The VS Christie fit pants used to be awesome! I have two pairs I bought over five years ago that I still wear regularly. The bad thing is, they changed the style so they don’t fit the same. I’ve been meaning to try some of the other fits, but haven’t gotten around to it.
I never had luck with their cotton stretch blend – too stiff and wrinkled easily. Mine are the seasonless stretch and can be machine washed, hung to dry and ironed if needed.
